After much success with the song and the video “The Drug I Need,” Los Angeles rockers, Against All Will, have just released their new video, “Swept Away,” which is directed and filmed by Pacheco for Firefly Filmworks. The single for Swept Away is also receiving steady airplay on many FM Stations across the nation. View the video below.
Against All Will was formed by guitarist and principal songwriter, Jimmy Allen, an original member of the band Puddle of Mudd (1992–1996) and (2005–2006). He is an award winning songwriter for “Blurry,” “Drift and Die,” and “She Hates Me,” off the ‘Come Clean‘ album, which was responsible for breaking Puddle of Mudd into the mainstream music scene.
The band also features former Soulfly bassist, Cello Dias, whose collaboration on that band’s first 3 albums, Soulfly, Primitive, and Soulfly 3, earned him certified RIAA Gold records in the US, as well as overseas – selling more than 2 millions copies world wide. The other half of this hard hitting rhythm section is former Instinct of Aggression drummer, Phillip Gonyea. Lastly, AAW is powered by the vocals of frontman Jeff Current, formerly of Seven Story Drop.
Against All Will has had one of two tracks (“All About You” and “The Drug I Need”) in the national Active Rock Top 100 songs for nearly a year. Both hit the upper levels of Mediabase Active Rock rankings for independent label releases, right up there with independent rock powerhouse labels like Eleven Seven (Papa Roach, Buck Cherry, Nikki Sixx, etc).
Sirius XM Octane has had “The Drug I Need” in regular airplay rotation for over six months, and the song is currently in their Top 15!
