Jimmy Allen is an original member of the band Puddle of Mudd (1992–1996) and (2005–2006). He is also an award winning songwriter for “Blurry,” “Drift and Die,” and “She Hates Me,” off the ‘Come Clean‘ album, which was responsible for breaking Puddle of Mudd into the mainstream music scene.
Jimmy’s hit songwriting ability and musicianship first came to light during 1997 when “You Don’t Know” from the independently released Puddle Of Mudd CD, Stuck , was a Top 5 radio smash in Kansas City.
Jimmy has since formed a new band – Against All Will. Here are some highlights:
- AAW has had one of two tracks in the national Active Rock Top 100 songs for nearly a year (“All About You” and “The Drug I Need”) and now the song “Swept Away.”
- These songs hit the upper levels of Mediabase Active Rock rankings for independent label releases, right up there with independent label rock powerhouse labels like Eleven Seven (Papa Roach, Buck Cherry, Nikki Sixx, etc).
- Sirius XM Octane has had “The Drug I Need” in airplay rotation cracking the charts at Top Ten in 2011.
- Swept Away hitting on the top 50 most played songs on Sirius Octane XM (Number 17 week ending 1/13/2011)
